Cloud Infra Product Manager

- Efficiency Insights<\/b>: Enabling financial accountability of the cloud resources by driving a product strategy for cost visibility, optimization and governance. You'll partner with engineering on capabilities that provide visibility into cloud spend, surface actionable recommendations, and establish cost governance controls. These tools will help teams understand their cloud costs, identify savings opportunities, and make informed resource decisions, ultimately driving more efficient use of our cloud infrastructure.
<\/li>- Infrastructure Management:<\/b> Driving the evolution of infrastructure management capabilities to support the ever evolving cloud infrastructure products. You’ll do change monitoring and impact assessment, and will create migration plans between software versions.

Responsibilities -<\/span><\/b>
<\/div>- Partner with other Platform Engineering Domains, Architecture, and SRE teams to build and evolve infra management capabilities (IaC modules, baseline configs) that make installs/upgrades safe.
<\/li> - Consult customer facing teams to ensure optimal configuration and hardening of Cloud Infrastructure within customers’ VPCs to prevent provisioning‑related incidents and improve operational resilience.
<\/li> - Define and own the quarterly roadmap for platform components that leverages cloud infrastructure components across compute, networking, storage and Kubernetes to support DataOS deployments and operations.
<\/li> - Drive change management for components end‑to‑end, including standards, versioning, deprecation, and migrations to minimize risk and disruption.
<\/li> - Define how we will measure the success and effectiveness of our products and drive the execution and continuous evaluation of those metrics.
<\/li> - Align stakeholders and lead cross‑functional execution using OKRs and a quarterly planning cadence, with clear communication of priorities, trade‑offs, and status.
<\/li> - Stay informed about industry advancements, and conduct comprehensive use vs. build analysis.

<\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>
- Experience managing and evolving products in the cloud infrastructure space
<\/li> - Demonstrated ownership of platform/infrastructure product areas with deep familiarity across any of the one cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
<\/li> - Strong technical grounding in VMs, databases, object storage, networking with the ability to translate operational realities into productized capabilities.
<\/li> - Familiarity with modern infrastructure management approaches, which may include infrastructure as code, cloud resource management, or similar technologies.
<\/li> - Experience with infrastructure as code tools and platforms (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Pulumi)
<\/li> - Proven ability to improve reliability and reduce incident rates through standards, automation, and lifecycle management of infrastructure components; track record driving MTTR down and availability up.
<\/li> - Clear prioritization and decision‑making aligned to non‑negotiables of reliability and security.
<\/li> - Effective stakeholder management, skilled at change management, roadmap communication, and aligning around OKRs and quarterly plans.
<\/li> - A healthy blend of technical knowledge with a customer -focused mindset and empathy.
<\/li> - Comfortable with incident participation expectations (on‑call presence/incident bridge) and collaborating across time zones, willing to travel as required.
