- Own the product vision: Collaborate with stakeholders and product leadership to define and articulate a clear product vision that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
- Manage the product roadmap: Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines upcoming features and enhancements, prioritising them based on business goals and customer feedback.
- Own the delivery: Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of product features, ensuring alignment with the product vision, roadmap, and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product management, and development teams to define and prioritise product features and refine the product backlog.
- Create and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring that they meet the needs of both the business and the development team.
- Prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer value, technical needs, and business objectives.
- Foster (PO) team empowerment by encouraging accountability, open communication, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Support the team in meeting Sprint, Program Increment (PI), and release goals by facilitating collaboration across functions and removing roadblocks.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, managing expectations and addressing changes in the product roadmap or timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement by actively participating in product reviews and incorporating feedback into the product backlog.
- Address conflicts within the team constructively, ensuring that the team remains focused and productive.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of overall experience with at least 2 yearsβ experience as an agile product Manager with a focus on product delivery, vision, roadmap management and backlog management.
- Proven ability to define and maintain a product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and empower teams to follow Agile best practices. ο· Experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the ability to guide teams in using these frameworks.
- Strong conflict management skills to resolve team issues and maintain a positive, high-performance team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with stakeholders effectively, development teams, and other business units.
- Experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing features based on business goals and customer feedback.
- Certification in Product Management or Agile (CSPO, SAFe) is a plus.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence.
