Job Description:
As a Technical Product Manager, you will own the technical aspects of our travel products, working closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. You’ll translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the smooth execution of product roadmaps. This role involves a blend of product management, technical expertise, and leadership to drive the success of our travel platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
● Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for technical features and platforms related to travel booking, payments, and integrations.
● Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product design, and operations, to deliver features that meet business and technical goals.
● Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
● Collaborate with backend engineering teams to define APIs, architecture, and workflows for new travel-related features and enhancements.
● Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and business objectives.
● Lead the integration of third-party travel services, including airlines, hotels, and payment systems, ensuring seamless technical implementation.
● Drive product innovation by researching emerging technologies and staying updated on trends within the travel industry.
● Work with DevOps teams to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of travel platforms.
● Act as a liaison between non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring that technical decisions are understood and aligned with business goals.
● Conduct technical feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects or features.
● Develop key product performance metrics and monitor post-launch to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:
Must-Have:
●      Experience: 5-8 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a Technical Product Manager role, preferably in the travel industry.
●      Technical Background: Strong hands-on experience with backend technologies like NodeJS, MySQL, MongoDB, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
●      Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of travel technology platforms, such as GDS integrations, booking systems, payment gateways, and third-party travel APIs.
●      Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, drive technical initiatives, and deliver high-impact projects.
●      Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on delivering scalable technical solutions.
●      Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
●      Agile Methodology: Hands-on experience with agile development practices and working in a Scrum or Kanban environment.

Preferred:
●      API Management: Experience designing, developing, or managing APIs, particularly in the travel space.
●      Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including serverless architecture and microservices.
●      DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
●      Travel Domain Expertise: Previous experience with travel distribution systems like Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport is a plus
