Location:
We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and Gurgaon. This role is out of our Gurgaon office, and you will have the flexibility to work in office and from home.
About the Role
Trusted Media Brands (TMB) is seeking a strategic-minded and results-focused Product Manager to help optimize and scale our advertising technology stack and develop data-driven direct sales product solutions.
You’ll oversee the ad tech and product roadmap and lead the growth and performance of our advertising technology infrastructure across digital platforms.
Working closely with the revenue operations, engineering, sales, and data teams, you’ll be charged with driving programmatic revenue and developing multi-platform data-driven 1p and 3p ad product solutions to enhance our direct sales efforts. This role reports into the SVP, Product.
About you:
You are someone who has a passion for data and a strong understanding and a unique combination of skills in critical areas: DMP, DSP, planning and activating against addressable audiences, as well as client strategy, product marketing, and industry thought leadership.
Your day-day: (aka Responsibilities) - Develop and maintain an ad product roadmap based on clear business goals and optimized for ad monetization performance
- Partner with revenue operations to evaluate, implement and optimize ad serving platforms, SSPs, DSPs and related ad-tech partners
- Drives and supports direct sales ad product development and strategy
- Work with engineering team to integrate ad tech solutions across our O&O digital platforms
- Collaborate with revenue operations to lead strategy and optimize programmatic demand sources to maximize yield
- Analyze monetization performance and develop recommendations based on data-driven insights
- Must understand how our DMP works, what levers to pull to improve performance, keep abreast of the latest DMP software and capability updates, and know how to translate it all into requirements for the dev team and product offerings for the sales team.
- Work cross-functionally with different departments to design and develop audience segmentation, including standardized segments and custom audience builds.
- Own relationship with DMP partners and work across the business to productize data driven sales opportunities
- Serve as a technical escalation point in client data conversations
- Find additional sources of valuable zero- and first-party data that can be leveraged on behalf of clients and ensure they are added to the DMP in an actionable way.
- Conduct A/B tests to continuously improve performance and assess new ad opportunities
- Act as a thought leader around developing tech trends (eg cookie deprecation, AI-driven targeting etc) and develop strategies to prepare for future changes
- Participate in sales ideation sessions for strategic accounts
You have: (aka Qualifications) - 5+ years of experience in the digital advertising product & tech space
- Deep experience in programmatic ad tech (GAM), programmatic platforms and third-party measurement tools
- Ability to create and communicate precise product requirements and comfortable working in an agile environment
- Experience with 1p data platforms/DMPs (eg Permutive)
- Familiarity with video ad tech (OTT/CTV) and streaming platforms
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and consent management tools
- Experience identifying, building and testing audience segmentation data
- Experience packaging standard and custom data products
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence both technical and non-technical teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
- Knowledge and understanding of Identity solutions
- Previous experience in the media/publishing space is a plus
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving results.
