About the role

Key Responsibilities

• Product Backlog Management: Own and manage the backlog for the team, ensuring clear prioritization based on business goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
• Feature Definition & Roadmap Alignment: Define detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring timely and high-quality feature delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the development team and key stakeholders (product managers, UX/UI, systems team, customer experience etc.).
• Technical Understanding: Maintain a strong understanding of Android Automotive OS and related technologies to support decision-making and provide clear guidance to development teams.
• Sprint Planning & Agile Execution: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment with Agile best practices.
• Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the development process and work proactively with teams to mitigate them.
• Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and data privacy requirements in infotainment software development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is ok.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or a similar role in software development.
• Experience working with Android Automotive OS or other embedded infotainment platforms is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile development teams.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with Android development frameworks (AOSP, HMI frameworks, connectivity protocols, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud-based services, APIs, and data-driven feature development.
• Understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Passion for automotive technology and user experience.
