JOB OVERVIEW :-

Solar Project Managers coordinate all of the workers and materials involved in a solar installation, managing time and budgets, and translating between engineers, system designers, and installers in the field.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

- Project Planning and Coordination

- Solar Project Managers maximize efficiency in the implementation of detailed project plans, keeping track of goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, and contingencies.

- Candidate responsible for the quality of work, and for keeping a project on time and on budget. - Prepare technical proposals and evaluate potential sites for solar installations.

- Oversee the permitting process, ensuring that all local, state, and federal regulations are met.

- Manage and negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

- Project Execution and Management

- Lead the project team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

- Monitor day-to-day operations, ensuring timely progress, cost control, and risk mitigation.

- Conduct regular site visits to oversee project progress, safety compliance, and quality assurance.

- Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

- Develop systems to manage safety and quality assurance onsite;

- coordinate installers, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors; and monitor their work to ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets.

- May also provide technical assistance to contractors, and report on progress to owners, project developers, and financial partners.

- Prepare and present project progress reports to HOD.

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications.

- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution without compromising quality.

- Track project expenditures, control costs, and prepare financial reports for stakeholders.

- Ensure proper invoicing, and track revenue and payments
