Global Hotel is lastminute.com group's hotel sourcing and distribution division, managing
direct contracts with 23,000+ hotel properties worldwide. We operate sophisticated B2C
distribution through the group's consumer brands and are expanding our B2B capabilities
through strategic partnerships and technology platforms.
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the product
strategy and execution for Global Hotel's technology, with primary focus on channel
manager connectivity, extranet management, and API product development. This is a
critical role that will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our hotel distribution
platform, managing both external partner-facing products and internal operational tools
that serve our B2C brands and support strategic B2B initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
● Mentor and develop 2-3 direct reports on the product team
● Foster a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and operational excellence
● Build product management best practices and processes for the growing B2B
division
● Collaborate effectively across distributed teams in Europe and Asia
Product Strategy & Vision
● Define and communicate the 12-18 month product roadmap for Global Hotel's
distribution platform and channel connectivity
● Make critical build vs buy vs partner decisions for platform capabilities
Product Discovery & Requirements
● Lead discovery processes with channel manager partners and internal Extranet.
● Define success metrics and KPIs for each product initiative.
● Conduct competitive analysis of bedbank platforms and B2B distribution technologies
Product Execution & Delivery
● Work closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into
technical specifications
● Analyse booking conversion data, channel performance metrics, and operational
efficiency indicators
Skills and Experience
● 8+ years in Product Management, with at least 4 years in B2B technology
products, preferably in travel tech, fintech, or marketplace platforms
● 3+ years managing technical integrations such as API products, connectivity
platforms, channel management systems, or payment systems
● Proven track record of leading complex B2B product initiatives from strategy
through execution, with measurable business impact
● Direct experience negotiating and managing partnerships with technology
vendors or channel partners
● Strong technical acumen including understanding of API architectures, data flows,
system integrations, and database design
Desirable
● Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities with proficiency in
SQL, analytics tools, and business intelligence platforms
● Experience with hotel distribution technology (channel managers, GDS, OTA
integrations, property management systems) is a strong plus
