About the role
WeWork India is looking for a high-impact Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our technology team. Reporting directly to the CPTO, this role is at the heart of driving execution rigor, scalable processes, and developer efficiency across the engineering organization. This individual will work closely with engineering, product, design, various business teams & external partners to deliver high-impact programs that shape the future of flexible workspaces in India.
Roles and responsibilities
Lead the planning and delivery of cross-functional / cross-organization tech programs, from kickoff to rollout, across multiple pods and platforms.
Own the roadmap delivery schedule, factoring in bandwidth, dependencies, and team velocity.
Build and maintain structured program plans including timelines, milestones, risk registers, and communication cadences.
Ensure strong alignment across Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, Business teams and the external partners.
Surface risks early, unblock teams, and drive a culture of proactive execution.
Manage stakeholder expectations with clear communication, empathy and structure, always bringing data to the table.
Own and continuously refine our Software Development Lifecycle — from intake and planning to delivery and post-mortems.
Champion best practices across teams in sprint hygiene, estimation, release planning, and incident resolution.
Improve workflows for predictability, clarity, and focus at every stage of development.
Partner with engineering leadership to identify tooling & process gaps and identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead programs that improve velocity, reduce waste, and enhance engineering efficiency
Define and operationalize developer productivity metrics (e.g., DORA, cycle time, review throughput).
Instrument dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and retrospective insights that are data-driven and action-oriented.
