Technical Project Manager

We seek a dynamic, collaborative Technical Project Manager with consulting experience to join our team. The TPM will advise, plan, and lead project teams to implement and sustain a variety of solutions for systems that use Salesforce and other industry leading CRMs. Our ideal candidates are analytical, organized multitaskers with strong business acumen and knowledge of consulting practices.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project plans including timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and ensure flawless execution.
- Own the Scope of Work (SOW) and ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Demos, and Retrospectives.
- Oversee resource allocation and workload balancing; collaborate with the PMO and Delivery Team leaders on forecasting and invoicing.
- Work closely with design, development, and implementation teams to understand technical and functional aspects of the project.
- Anticipate and analyze risks, maintain a project risk log and proactively address risks to prevent escalation.
- Ensure clear, transparent communication with all stakeholders through structured updates and reports.
- Adapt project management frameworks based on client & project needs.
- Serve as a consultative partner to clients, articulating solutions and guiding teams to deliver value-driven outcomes.
- Maintain strong financial oversight across project delivery while also aligning with clients’ goals to identify and accelerate high-value opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 6 years in hands-on project management roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BE/BTech); post-graduate or management degrees are advantageous.
- Extensive experience managing IT consulting projects - preferably within the Salesforce/CRM domain.
- Strong grasp of project management methodologies, with practical experience applying Agile/Hybrid frameworks.
- Proficiency in Jira or equivalent project tracking tools such as Asana, Rally, or ClickUp.
- Technical fluency - either through direct experience in BA, Dev or QA roles, or the ability to comprehend and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Ability to comprehend team deliverables and quality
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive learning mindset.
- High emotional intelligence with a demonstrated ability to lead teams as well as manage stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred certifications: PMP (strongly preferred), CSM, PMI-ACP, or PSM.
