We are seeking a proactive and analytical Associate Product Manager – Collections & Payments to support the development and optimization of our financial products across the customer payment and receivables lifecycle. This role is ideal for early-career product professionals who are passionate about solving real-world payment challenges, improving customer experience, and building scalable digital financial solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, operations, compliance, and data analytics to define product requirements, support product roadmap execution, and ensure high-quality delivery.

- Support the end-to-end product lifecycle for collections and payment products, from discovery and requirements gathering to development, launch, and post-launch improvements.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews to identify customer needs, payment behavior patterns, and product enhancement opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to create user stories, PRDs, workflows, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and alignment for feature development.
- Assist in building product roadmaps and prioritizing features based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders including finance, risk, legal, and customer success teams to ensure product compliance, scalable processes, and smooth operational rollout.
- Analyze product performance using metrics, dashboards, and customer insights, and identify actionable opportunities to optimize payment success rates, reduce default rates, and improve user experience.
- Support the integration and management of payment gateways, third-party service providers, collection partners, and banking platforms.
- Participate in UAT, validate new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of enhancements and releases.
- Create product documentation, release notes, training material, and internal communication to align teams across the organization.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging fintech innovations, and regulatory changes relevant to digital payments, lending, and collections.
- Work with the operations team to ensure feedback loops and continuous improvement across payment flows and collection strategies.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in fintech, lending, digital payments, financial services, or SaaS.
- Strong understanding of collections workflows, payment processing systems, digital payment rails, and transaction lifecycle concepts (UPI, Net Banking, Cards, NACH, eMandates, wallets, etc.).
- Ability to translate business needs into structured product requirements with clear documentation and user stories.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data tools (Excel, SQL basics, or product analytics platforms) to derive insights and drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced product environment.
