Product Manager/Strategy 3-ProdDev

We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager with a strong execution focus to lead product development and shape strategic initiatives in a highly technical platform. In this role, you will work closely with engineering managers and leadership to transform customer and partner requests into clear, actionable, and prioritized product requirements and use cases. Acting as the key driver of product execution, you will manage the backlog and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver measurable results.

Your responsibilities will include managing product workflows using tools like Jira to ensure partner and customer requirements are well-defined, actionable, and aligned with the broader organizational strategy and continuously collaborating with engineering and other stakeholders to remove ambiguity.

This role demands a result-oriented professional capable of transforming strategic vision into tactical execution, ensuring products meet business objectives and deliver substantial value to customers.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer and partner feature requests into well-defined, actionable, and prioritized product requirements and use cases.
• Manage the product backlog and release process using tools like JIRA, collaborating with engineering teams to define detailed technical requirements and ensure timely, in-scope delivery of product enhancements.
• Conduct demos, including developer-focused use cases, to showcase new features, gather feedback, and refine product functionality.
• Work with a team that balances innovation in cutting-edge technology with a focus on stability and performance.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on product planning, progress, and execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management and Program Management, with a focus on technical, platform-level products
• Managing large, complex projects involving cross-functional teams, multi-location collaboration, and multi-year timelines.
• Skilled in Jira, sprint planning, and agile methodologies, with expertise in backlog management and optimizing development cycles.
• Proficient in creating PRDs, developing product roadmaps, and translating strategic goals into actionable plans.
• Strong technical knowledge, effective communication, and creative problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects to clear outcomes.
• Understanding of how cloud application architecture/design works and familiar with some of the best practices in this area
• Comfortable building mockups or prototypes that can show what is possible
• Relentless customer focus, dedicated to understanding and addressing customer needs.
• Experience with Telemetry, Usage Analytics or analytics-driven projects is a plus.
