We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee and manage railway and metro simulation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the railway or metro sector, with a focus on simulation technologies. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, detailing scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with stakeholders including clients, team members, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and progress.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation to achieve project objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints. Address any financial issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical documentation, and post-project evaluations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in project management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the railway or metro sector, particularly involving simulation projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of simulation technologies and their applications in railway and metro projects.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
