Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead and execute projects in our Data Warehousing vertical. This role requires a strong blend of project management, technical expertise, and documentation skills, ensuring seamless execution of data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed project documentation, including BRD (Business Requirement Documents), SOW (Statement of Work), SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), and other key artifacts.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead end-to-end project execution for data warehouse implementations, ETL processes, and analytics solutions.
- Work closely with clients, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
- Identify project risks and define mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are followed.
Technical & Documentation Expertise
- Create and maintain project documentation, including:
- BRD (Business Requirement Document) – Defining business needs, objectives, and technical requirements.
- SOW (Statement of Work) – Outlining project scope, deliverables, and responsibilities.
- SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) – Documenting processes, best practices, and workflows.
- Technical Specifications & Data Flow Diagrams for Data Warehousing and ETL solutions.
- User Manuals & Training Documents for internal and client teams.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development teams.
- Work closely with Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, and ETL teams to define architecture, data models, and workflows.
- Establish and improve documentation standards to ensure clarity, consistency, and usability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, preferably in Data Warehousing, ETL, and Analytics.
- Strong experience in creating and managing BRDs, SOWs, SOPs, and other project documentation.
- Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, ETL pipelines, Power BI, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Trello, Confluence, etc.).
- Strong business analysis skills to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, structured documentation.
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
